Group charging stations (group charging systems) are charging stations that allow you to simultaneously charge a large number of electric vehicles at one time. They have high throughput and are reliable under various operating conditions. Group charging systems have a power electrical infrastructure allocated outside the charging station, and the charging itself is performed at the chargers connected to them. In fact, with a small number of electric vehicles, separate charging stations are quite justified, but when it comes to simultaneously charging a variety of electric vehicles, for example, electric bus depots, parking lots near supermarkets, entertainment centers, offices, etc., the operation of group charging systems becomes the most effective. It should be noted that the unit cost of a group charging system is much lower than the purchase of individual charging stations.
